Sara Bates, L.Ac.

Sara is a Fort Collins acupuncturist who loves fall leaves, warm drinks, yoga, adventuring, and time in the sun. Sara earned her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2012. She practiced in Nashville for several years before relocating to Fort Collins over 4 years ago and has been specializing in treating women’s health conditions from the beginning. Sara uses all of the tools that Chinese medicine offers to treat irregular or painful menses, fertility, pregnancy, anxiety, menopause, pain and more. Sara discovered a particular passion for supporting pregnancy and birth and became a birth doula in 2015. She has pursued intensive training in using Chinese medicine principles, acupuncture, and acupressure to both prepare women for a gentle birth and to aid in labor. Sara didn’t discover acupuncture until she was out of college but it was an instant fit for her; she was raised in a family with a natural remedy for everything and believes in the incredible healing potential of the body given the right tools!

 

 

Brooke Wells Reccia

M.S.O.M., L.Ac.

Brooke is a northern Colorado native who loves trail running, wind chimes, cooking healthy meals with her two boys, and going on adventures with her family! She embarked on her journey in healthcare by earning a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado. Initially drawn to acupuncture as a way to treat sports injuries, Brooke discovered a profound passion for the women’s health field during her studies at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, where she also served as the student body president. While adept at addressing sports injuries, Brooke found her true calling in psychological acupuncture and women's health. Through her own struggle with fertility, she experienced firsthand the transformative power of a holistic approach that combines acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary advice, and functional medicine. This personal experience ignited a deep passion within her, leading her to dedicate her life to helping both men and women balance their hormones, regulate their natural cycles, achieve emotional balance, and detoxify from environmental chemicals. With a firm belief in healing the body through natural means, Brooke strives to support her clients in all areas of life. Her expertise and specialization in psychological acupuncture and women's health have empowered her to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients.

 

 

Dr. Meghan Gray (Peckinpaugh), L.Ac.

DACM, MSHNFM, L.Ac.

Dr. Meghan is a Colorado native who loves wildflowers, blueberries, snow angels, and campfire cook-outs with her hubs and baby boy. She graduated cum laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and has her Master’s of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. Dr. Meghan has worked with patients of all ages, from only a few days old to those who’ve lived over a century! She utilizes acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutritional therapy for mental wellness, women’s health, autoimmunity, cosmetic concerns, and more. Dr. Meghan’s graduate research centered around the use of acupuncture for PTSD and nutrition for autoimmune disease. She has advanced training in traditional Chinese Medicine pulse diagnosis and loves helping her patients find sustainable solutions for their health concerns. Dr. Meghan found acupuncture while in undergrad at CSU in Fort Collins when she was struggling with autoimmune disease herself. In an act of desperation, she tried acupuncture, and as you can guess, it changed her health, her career, and her life.
